Hilda Baci Becomes Three-Time Guinness World Record Holder with Massive Jollof Rice Feat

Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has made history again, receiving her third Guinness World Record certificate after her record-breaking culinary feat in September 2025.

Baci prepared a staggering 8,780 kilograms of Nigerian-style jollof rice, earning recognition not only for the largest serving of Nigerian jollof rice but also for the largest rice serving globally.

Reflecting on the achievement, she expressed deep gratitude and credited God for the milestone. “Third time. Not because I planned it. Not because I felt ready. But because God allowed it,” Baci wrote.

She shared her emotional journey, highlighting the nerves, faith, sacrifice, and prayers that went into achieving the record. “Unboxing this record pack felt like reliving the moment all over again… I’m just deeply grateful,” she added.

This latest accolade builds on her earlier Guinness World Record in 2023, when she set the record for the longest cooking marathon, preparing meals continuously for 93 hours and 11 minutes.

Baci’s achievements have cemented her reputation as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated chefs, inspiring many in the culinary world.
