“We Got Nothing After Campaigning for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu” — Lalude Calls Out MC Oluomo [VIDEO]

Veteran Nollywood actor Lalude has publicly called out MC Oluomo, the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), accusing him of failing to deliver on financial promises made to celebrities who campaigned for President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 elections.

According to DAILY POST, numerous Nigerian celebrities—including Toyin Abraham, Alapini, Olaiya Igwe, Lege Miami, Eniola Badmus, and Seyi Law—played active roles in mobilizing support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu’s presidential bid.

In a viral video circulating on social media, Lalude expressed deep disappointment, revealing that despite dedicating nearly two months to the campaign, he and his colleagues received no compensation. He singled out MC Oluomo, who coordinated their efforts, for reneging on financial commitments.

“My colleagues and I campaigned for President Tinubu and Governor Sanwo-Olu during the election, but we didn’t get a single kobo after all our hard work,” Lalude said.

“We left our jobs for a month and three weeks to campaign. MC Oluomo organized us and personally told Alapini and me to ask for anything we wanted. We made our requests clear, but he never fulfilled his promises.”

He added with conviction, “My curse will follow those who are holding onto the money meant for us for the rest of their lives.”
