Aisha Lawal Shuts Down MC Oluomo Car Gift Rumor, Threatens Legal Action

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Aisha Lawal has strongly denied viral allegations claiming she received a Toyota Venza from Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, the Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).
In a no-holds-barred appearance on the Talk To B podcast, Lawal described the rumor as false, defamatory, and a calculated attempt to tarnish her hard-earned reputation.
The allegation, which originated from a video by NURTW chieftain Baba Bistijabah, accused MC Oluomo of collecting a blue Venza from him and gifting it to Lawal. The actress, however, dismissed the claim as nothing short of outrageous.
“One grown man sat in front of a camera—whether it was a setup or he was high, I don’t know—and said MC Oluomo gave me a blue Venza. I didn’t collect any car. Why would I die mysteriously when I didn’t receive anything mysteriously?”
Lawal emphasized that not only did she never receive a car from MC Oluomo—or anyone else—she doesn’t even like the Venza model.
“I didn’t collect any car from him. I respect MC Oluomo because he has helped many people I know, but let’s be clear—I never got a car. Please, put some respect on my name. I suffered to earn my money. I don’t even like Venzas—I drive a Lexus GX 460.”
The actress revealed she only became aware of the video after someone sent her a disturbing “prayer” in which her name was mentioned in connection with the vehicle. She expressed shock at how quickly people believed and circulated the baseless claim without verifying the facts.
“I didn’t watch the video until I heard the so-called ‘prayer’ saying, ‘Aisha Lawal, I own the blue Venza with you.’ I studied Law for seven years—I’m not afraid to go to court. He better get a good lawyer.”
Lawal concluded by stating that legal action is on the table, and she will not hesitate to defend her name through the proper channels.
