Rapper Chris Brown Arrested in Connection with 2023 London Nightclub Assault

Rapper Chris Brown was arrested early Thursday morning at a luxury hotel in Manchester in connection with an alleged assault at a London nightclub in 2023.
Metropolitan Police officers apprehended the 36-year-old American artist shortly after 2 a.m. at The Lowry Hotel. The arrest follows an incident that occurred on February 19, 2023, at Tape nightclub in Hanover Square, Mayfair. Brown is accused of launching an unprovoked attack on music producer Abe Diaw during the early hours of the morning at the exclusive venue.
Diaw claims the assault took place around 3 a.m. and involved a bottle.
Brown had flown into the UK on a private jet, arriving at Manchester Airport the previous afternoon. His presence in the country was revealed following inquiries by The Sun, prompting Met detectives to travel to Manchester to make the arrest.
He is currently being held at a local police station for questioning.
