Venita Akpofure has offered a candid take on her dating experiences, saying younger men are more likely to approach her than older men.
The 39-year-old actress and entrepreneur made the comment during an appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast, where she spoke about relationships, motherhood, career and the experiences that have shaped her life.
According to Akpofure, the difference is not necessarily financial. She believes younger men make up for what they may lack financially with the confidence to approach women they find attractive.
She put it more bluntly during the conversation, saying younger men have “bigger balls” than older men when it comes to making advances.
Akpofure explained that while some younger suitors may not have the financial resources of older men, their willingness to take risks and make their intentions known gives them an advantage.
“What they don’t have in their bank account, they make up for in the size of their bravery and audacity,” she said.
The actress also reflected on her career journey, recalling her early days as a model and her role as Mimi on AY’s Crib. She went on to establish herself as a prominent video vixen before expanding her career into acting and entrepreneurship.
Beyond her career, Akpofure discussed growing up between Warri and the United Kingdom and the impact of living between two different environments.
She also opened up about marriage, rebuilding her finances and life after difficult experiences, and raising her two daughters.
