Billionaire businessman Tony Elumelu has sent wedding gifts to Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile following his traditional marriage to longtime partner Davita Lamai.
Zlatan, whose real name is Omoniyi Raphael, shared images of the gifts on his Instagram Story on Monday, October 26, two days after the couple’s traditional wedding on Saturday, October 24.
The presents arrived in packages bearing the Heirs Holdings branding, accompanied by handwritten notes with messages including “Zlatan, well done”, “Our wife”, “Congrats” and “Zlatan”.
Elumelu’s initials, TOE, were also inscribed on the notes as the sender’s signature.
Reacting to the gesture, Zlatan expressed appreciation to the businessman on Instagram, tagging his account and adding a love emoji.
Zlatan and Davita celebrate traditional wedding
The rapper and Davita announced their wedding date in a video shared on October 8 ahead of the ceremony.
Their traditional wedding featured outfits inspired by Edo culture, reflecting Davita’s heritage, before the couple changed into coordinated Yoruba attire for another look.
The event attracted several celebrities and public figures, including singer Davido, fashion designer Seyi Vodi, music producer Young Jonn, actress Iyabo Ojo, social media personality Papaya Ex, rapper Lil Kesh and singer Teni.
Elumelu’s gift adds to the congratulatory gestures surrounding the couple’s marriage, which drew attention from personalities across Nigeria’s entertainment and business circles.
