Social media commentator Solomon Buchi has challenged Pastor Tobi Adegboyega to take legal action against him over comments he made about the pastor and his church.
Buchi’s challenge followed recent remarks by Adegboyega, who urged anyone with allegations concerning members of his church to report the matter to the police or seek legal redress through the courts.
In a video shared online, Buchi said he was not intimidated by the possibility of being sued and called on the pastor to follow through with legal action.
“If you’re a man born of a woman, sue me. Let me teach you how to be cooked. We are in England, sue me,” Buchi said.
Buchi says he is ready for court
The commentator alleged that some people had been negatively affected by Adegboyega’s actions and claimed that individuals were prepared to publicly recount their experiences.
He also suggested that Adegboyega’s remarks were intended as a warning to him.
Buchi, however, said the prospect of a lawsuit did not concern him and maintained that he was prepared to defend himself if the matter ended up in court.
According to him, legal proceedings would give both parties an opportunity to present their respective positions before a judge.
Buchi also referred to a previous legal dispute involving him, saying he had successfully taken other individuals to court in the past.
He subsequently challenged Adegboyega to do the same if he believed Buchi’s comments were actionable.
The latest exchange adds another layer to the ongoing public debate surrounding Adegboyega and his church, with Buchi now openly calling for the dispute to be settled through the legal process.
