Skitmaker Remote Shares Why He Married Early, Credits Wife for Filling Motherly Void

The comedian says his wife’s support and care helped him overcome loneliness after growing up without a mother.

Nigerian skitmaker, Remote, has opened up about the deeply personal reason behind his decision to marry in 2020, revealing that his wife became the anchor he needed after growing up without a mother.

Speaking in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Remote said loneliness shaped much of his early years and heavily influenced his choice to settle down earlier than most.

According to him, he had been in a relationship with his wife since 2016, and over time, she filled the emotional gap he longed for. He described her as more than a partner, highlighting the nurturing role she played in his life.

“She has always been there, supporting me in every way. At a time when I had nothing, she stood by me,” Remote recalled. “She even gave me money once when I was struggling, and it made me reflect deeply on my life. That moment made me realize how much she truly cared.”

The comedian praised her patience, loyalty, and strength, admitting that her ability to understand and accommodate his personality convinced him that she was the right one to marry.

“For someone to be able to handle me, I just knew she was the one,” he said.

Remote’s candid revelation adds another layer to his public persona, showing the private struggles that shaped not only his career but also his personal choices.
