Sevilla have congratulated striker Jerome Akor Adams on his maiden invitation to the Nigeria national team.
The 24-year-old was included in coach Eric Chelle’s 23-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin announced on Friday.
Akor, who previously featured for Nigeria at U-20 level, is the only new player in the squad.
“Congrats to Akor Adams who has been called up by Nigeria for the first time!” Sevilla posted on their official X account.
