UEFA has named Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane in its Champions League team of the week following Wednesday’s fixtures.
Both players earned selection after featuring in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena. Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé also made the list after scoring in his side’s 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig.
UEFA’s Champions League team of the week comprises:
Goalkeeper: Yann Sommer (Club Brugge).
Defenders: Xavier Mbuyamba (LASK), Lutsharel Geertruida (PSV) and Carlos Augusto (Inter).
Midfielders: Declan Rice (Arsenal), Phil Foden (Manchester City), Nicolás Paz (Como), Scott McTominay (Napoli) and Désiré Doué (PSG).
Forwards: Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and Harry Kane (Bayern Munich).
