Rangers have officially announced the signing of Emmanuel Fernandez, a defender born in Nigeria.
The 23-year-old has joined the Light Blues from League One side Peterborough United and has signed a four-year deal with the club.
Fernandez becomes the most recent player to join Russell Martin’s squad during this summer’s transfer window.
The young centre-back featured in 42 matches for Peterborough United last season.
This move marks Fernandez’s first opportunity to compete in a top-flight league, following his previous spells with lower-tier clubs.
At Ibrox, Fernandez will don the number 37 jersey.
