Rangers and Shooting Stars have selected the MKO Abiola Sports Complex in Abeokuta as the venue for their home fixtures in next month’s CAF competitions.
Rangers, the reigning NPFL champions, had initially agreed with Remo Stars to use the club’s stadium in Ikenne before opting for Abeokuta following consultations with head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu and his technical team.
Shooting Stars had also chosen the Remo Stars Sports Complex for their continental campaign but will now play in Abeokuta.
Rangers will meet Benin Republic’s AS Sobemap in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, while Shooting Stars face Tunisia’s CS Sfaxien in the opening round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Both competitions are scheduled to begin early next month.
