Rangers defender Ifeanyi Onyebuchi has undergone successful surgery after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The defender picked up the injury while the Flying Antelopes were preparing for the new season and has now begun rehabilitation.
Onyebuchi is expected to spend an extended period on the sidelines, dealing a significant blow to Fidelis Ilechukwu’s squad as they seek to retain their Nigeria Premier Football League title.
The experienced defender has been a regular fixture for Rangers since joining the club.
