Presidency Announces Return of President Bola Tinubu from Europe

The presidency has confirmed that President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by his aides, will return to Nigeria from Europe on Wednesday.

Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to the President, shared the news in a post on his social media handle on Tuesday.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga wrote.

Tinubu embarked on an official visit to the Kingdom of The Netherlands on April 22, departing from Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Presidential Spokesperson, disclosed that the visit was at the invitation of Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

Following his engagements in The Netherlands, Tinubu attended a special World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from April 28 to 29.

While expectations were for Tinubu to return to Nigeria after the forum in Saudi Arabia, his prolonged absence led to speculations about his whereabouts.

Reports suggested that he traveled to London from Saudi Arabia for a private visit before continuing to France, a European country.
