Paternity Scandal: Cubana Chief Priest Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Alleged Baby Mama in Kenya

Popular Nigerian socialite and businessman, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has taken legal action against his alleged baby mama, Hellen Ati, filing a defamation lawsuit in Kenya.
The controversy began six months ago when Hellen, a Kenyan national, publicly accused Cubana Chief Priest of fathering her two-year-old son and allegedly abandoning them. In a viral video shared on social media, she claimed the child was conceived after a brief romantic encounter with him in April 2022.
According to Hellen, her efforts to reach out to the socialite after giving birth were unsuccessful, as she was allegedly blocked on all communication platforms. In response, Cubana Chief Priest flatly denied the allegations, stating that he had never met her.
Despite her repeated calls for a paternity test to confirm her claims, the request has reportedly been met with silence.
However, the saga took a legal turn this week. A Nigerian legal personality, known online as DPA Family Clinic, shared details of a defamation lawsuit filed by Cubana Chief Priest against Hellen in a Kenyan court.
Reacting to the lawsuit in a new Instagram video, Hellen defiantly addressed the socialite, saying:
“Pascal thinks he can sue me? You know within yourself that you should be in jail by now. You have the audacity to file a suit after ignoring my calls for a DNA test for years? This is Kenya, not Nigeria, where you think money can buy lawyers or influence hospital results. I didn’t defame you—I simply asked for the truth. I won’t be silenced by your lawsuit. I will keep calling you out until you do the right thing.”
The ongoing dispute continues to generate heated reactions across social media, with many calling for transparency and a definitive resolution through a DNA test.
