The Nigeria National League (NNL) has reiterated its commitment to upholding integrity as the season heads into its final round of matches. The league body stressed that only the most deserving teams will advance to the Super Eight playoff, where they will compete for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
NNL Chairman George Aluo emphasized that the league is dedicated to aligning with international best practices and will not be influenced by external pressures.
“We have maintained a high level of integrity since we assumed office, and we are fully committed to repositioning the league. This is evident in the success of the teams we promoted to the NPFL last season,” Aluo stated in an interview with NNL media. “We will continue to ensure the same level of performance and fairness is upheld this season.”
The top four teams from the 2025 Super Eight playoff tournament will secure promotion to the NPFL.
