Newcastle Raise Bid for Šeško as Battle with Man United Heats Up

Newcastle United are looking to get ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race to sign RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Šeško, having increased their bid for the highly sought-after forward.
According to Sky Germany, the Magpies have tabled a new offer worth £69.7 million (€80 million) as a fixed fee, with additional performance-based bonuses. This follows their initial proposal of £65.3 million (€75 million) plus £4.36 million (€5 million) in add-ons.
With Callum Wilson departing following the expiration of his contract and uncertainty surrounding Alexander Isak’s future, Newcastle are actively seeking reinforcements in the striker position.
Isak is reportedly attracting serious interest from Premier League champions Liverpool, who have already had one bid turned down.
Manchester United, meanwhile, remain in contention for Šeško’s signature and are believed to be in ongoing discussions with Leipzig over the structure of a potential deal.
Šeško, who saw a proposed move to Arsenal collapse earlier this summer, has yet to make a final decision on which Premier League club he will join.
