The early morning rains that caused major highways to flood have prompted the National Emergency Management Authority to warn inhabitants of the Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State’s Command area to use alternate routes to reach their destinations.

Residents of the Command area were also cautioned against using the Command bridge because it has been submerged by the flood.

The downpour started around 2 am and 5 am in some areas and spread across the state lasted till a few minutes before 10 am on Tuesday.
