The plan is expected to provide a coordinated framework for security operations over the next five years, with emphasis on intelligence gathering, inter-agency collaboration, operational effectiveness and the protection of lives and property.
Government officials say the strategy is designed to move security operations towards a more proactive and intelligence-driven approach, while addressing evolving threats across different parts of the country.
The initiative is also expected to enhance the capacity of security agencies through improved planning, resource allocation, personnel development and the deployment of modern technology.
The Federal Government says sustained collaboration among the military, police, intelligence agencies and other relevant institutions will be critical to the successful implementation of the strategy.
Authorities are expected to monitor progress under the five-year framework and strengthen measures aimed at ensuring that security operations remain responsive to changing threats and national priorities.
