Ladan Bosso Takes Charge of NPFL Debutants Barau FC Ahead of Historic Season

Ladan Bosso has been formally introduced as the new technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) newcomers, Barau FC.
The unveiling ceremony was conducted by the club’s owner, Nigeria’s Deputy Senate President, Jibrin Barau, who officially presented the seasoned coach to the media.
Bosso will lead a technical team that includes Rabi’u Tata as Chief Coach, Madu Muhammad as Assistant Coach, and Surajo Mukhtar serving as Fitness Coach.
Based in Kano, Barau FC secured promotion to the NPFL last season and are set to make their debut appearance in the country’s top-flight league. For the 2025/26 campaign, the club has designated the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano as its home venue.
Bosso’s first major test in charge will be against nine-time NPFL champions Enyimba, whom Barau FC will host in their opening fixture later this month.
