Kunle Omisore: My Feelings for a Woman Can Disappear When She Stresses Me
Nollywood actor Kunle Omisore has opened up about how he responds when a relationship or situation begins to affect his peace, saying his feelings for a woman can fade when she becomes a source of constant frustration.
Omisore explained that the change in his emotions is not something he deliberately decides to trigger.
According to the actor, once someone he loves begins to frustrate him, his feelings can simply disappear without him consciously controlling the process.
“When I say I love you, I love you. If you frustrate me, that thing will switch off unconsciously, so I don’t control it,” he said.
Omisore said the sudden change can even make him question the depth of his previous feelings for the person.
He explained that when the emotion is gone, he may find himself wondering whether he genuinely loved the person in the first place.
Asked whether he could really stop having feelings for someone so quickly, the actor responded, “Just like that.”
Omisore also extended his position beyond romantic relationships, saying he would remove himself from any situation that repeatedly causes him stress, irrespective of the status of the person involved.
“If it stresses me, I’m done. If a king came to a feast here, if he’s going to keep stressing me, maa salo,” he said.
For the actor, however, there is one notable exception.
Omisore said financial difficulties are the only source of stress he willingly accepts.
“The only thing that is allowed to stress me is when I don’t have money,” he added.
His comments highlight his stated preference for protecting his peace and walking away from relationships or situations he considers emotionally draining.
