Uchenna Kanu says the Super Falcons are determined to complete a double over Comoros as they seek to advance in the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers.
Nigeria take a 2-0 lead into the second leg of their second-round tie after Michelle Alozie and Kanu scored in the first leg.
The forward said the team intends to secure another victory and maintain its push for Olympic qualification.
“Playing on a big stage like the Olympics is huge for me personally.
“We have a goal not just to make it to the Olympics, but also to look at the trophy. We have a good team, we’ve been preparing and we’ve been doing well.
“We want to win, like the coach said, and score as many goals as possible,” Kanu told the media.
The return leg will kick off at 6 p.m. Nigerian time at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne.
The aggregate winner will face Morocco in the third qualifying round in March 2027.
