Juma Jux Breaks Silence on Paternity Claim, Says He Never Had Intimate Relationship With Woman

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has denied claims that he fathered a child with a Tanzanian woman identified as Musika.
Jux said he has never been physically intimate with Musika and denied having a romantic relationship with her.
The singer addressed the controversy days after he and his wife, Nigerian actress Priscilla Ojo Mkambala, celebrated the first birthday of their son, Rakeem.
According to Jux, the allegation is not new but resurfaced recently with his name, family and businesses becoming involved in the controversy.
He said he decided to confront the issue after the claims began gaining attention and contacted Musika directly to understand the basis of her allegation.
Jux said Musika subsequently denied having any physical or romantic relationship with him.
“Musika confirmed in her own words and voice that she had never been physically intimate with me nor had a romantic relationship with me,” he said.
The singer added that the matter has now been referred to legal authorities, with further action expected against Musika over the allegation.
Jux also cautioned media organisations and members of the public against circulating what he described as misleading information about the matter.
He said he would allow the appropriate legal processes to determine the next steps, stressing that he had chosen to respond with “calmness, truth and the appropriate legal steps.”
The controversy comes shortly after Jux and Priscilla marked their son Rakeem’s first birthday, placing renewed attention on the singer’s family life.
