JAMB Registrar Reaffirms Commitment to Customer-Oriented Service Delivery

The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Segun Aina, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to customer-oriented service delivery, describing it as a cornerstone of the Board’s operations.

Aina made the commitment on Friday, August 14, 2026, during his maiden official visit to some of the Board’s outstation offices, where he interacted with staff and familiarised himself with their operations and challenges.

According to Fabian Benjamin, Ag. Director, PAP, JAMB, the Registrar commended members of staff for the warm reception accorded him and urged them to develop the resilience and adaptability required to respond effectively to emerging realities in the public service environment.

He assured the workers that the Board would continue to deploy deliberate strategies, innovative initiatives and appropriate technologies to improve service delivery and enhance the overall experience of candidates.

Aina stressed the importance of quality customer service to JAMB’s operations, assuring staff that Management would provide the necessary tools, training and institutional support to facilitate efficient and effective service delivery.

He also charged staff to embrace teamwork, professionalism and a shared sense of purpose, particularly in responding to the changing needs and expectations of Generation Z candidates, who make up a significant segment of the Board’s clientele.

According to him, “We must all come together to build trust and reduce trauma.”

The Registrar noted that every interaction with a candidate provides an opportunity for the Board to strengthen public confidence in its processes.

He therefore urged staff to remain courteous, responsive and solution-driven in the discharge of their responsibilities.

Staff at the stations visited congratulated Aina on his appointment and prayed for a successful and impactful tenure.

They also expressed appreciation for the visit, saying it would strengthen the relationship between the Board’s leadership and its workforce while creating an avenue for the exchange of ideas on improving service delivery.

In their separate remarks, the staff pledged their support for the Registrar’s vision and assured him of their continued dedication, professionalism and teamwork in advancing the mandate of JAMB.
