Inauguration: Senator-Elect Nwebonyi Joins World Leaders To Commend The Incoming Administration

Preparatory to the inauguration of Nigeria’s 16th President, Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, billed for Monday, May 29, 2023, it’s been a torrent of adulations and commendations for the duo on whose shoulders the destiny and future of Nigeria lie for the next four years.

Notable world acclaimed leaders have expressed their readiness to support the Tinubu administration to succeed and to improve on the bilateral relations between Nigeria and their various countries.

Former British Prime Minister, Sir Tony Blair, only recently during a visit to the president-elect, underlined his commitment to partner with the Tinubu administration, especially in prioritising its goals and delivery.

The United States, for its part, has said that the Secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Honourable Marcia L. Fudge, has been selected by President Joe Biden, Jr. to lead the United States delegation to the swearing-in ceremony in Abuja.

On the home front, there has been a deluge of acclamation messages ahead of the epoch-making event.

Hon. (Barr.) Nwebonyi Onyeka Peter, Senator-elect, Ebonyi North Senatorial District, is congratulating His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and His Excellency KASHIM π’π‡π„π“π“πˆπŒπ€ GCON, on their swearing-in ceremony as President and Vice President respectively.

A message on Saturday, May 27, from the Lawmaker, was effusive in commending the incoming Administration for its pyrrhic victory at the just concluded general election, while also believing in the capacity and experience of His Excellency, Bola Tinubu to weather every seeming storm of life.

On the dismissal by the Supreme Court of the suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking the disqualification of Bola Tinubu as a candidate in the last presidential election, Peter Nwebonyi remarked that the Victory is testament to the divine and human acceptance of Tinubu and Shettima’s candidature.

The Message read in part:

“I give thanks to Almighty God for making this a reality and further thank Nigerians who massively voted for our great party in the

“Your Excellency, The attributes found in you is needed especially at this time, to reach out to disaffected sections of our society and to meet the expectations of Nigerians

“Finally, I pray that Almighty God will help in fulfilling the progressive mandate of our Party, as well as your various plans to improve the security, welfare and happiness of all Nigerians,” Nwebonyi concluded.
