Award-winning Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has gracefully but firmly responded to a social media user who questioned her appearance in real life.
The drama began after Tiwa posted a series of stunning photos on her Instagram page. While many fans flooded the comments section with praise, one user with the handle @nutefobayo decided to throw shade, claiming that the singer doesn’t look as good in person as she does in her pictures.
“Pictures dey make some people fine. Tiwa is not this beautiful in real life,” he commented.
But Tiwa wasn’t having it. In a witty and confident clapback, she shut down the remark and suggested the troll was simply starstruck and too shy to admit he’d love to meet her.
“You wish. I am even better in real life,” she replied. “Just say you wish to meet me in person, but shame go catch you, you no go fit talk.”
