Gehgeh Gifts Woman Car for Uber Business Despite Earlier Warning to Men

Popular financial commentator and social media personality Gehgeh has gifted a female fan a car to help her start an Uber business in Abuja.

The gesture comes shortly after he advised men against setting up businesses for women they are in relationships with.

Gehgeh shared the development in a video posted on his X account, where he explained that the woman had contacted him several months ago for assistance.

According to him, the woman, who is from Delta State and based in Abuja, told him she needed a car to begin working with Uber.

He said he promised to meet her when he returned to Abuja and followed through after arriving in the Federal Capital Territory.

“Few months ago, this lady reach out to me, say, ‘Gehgeh, I dey face one kind problem, I need your help,’” he said.

Gehgeh explained that after asking what she needed, she told him about her plan to use a car for Uber.

He subsequently asked her to meet him in Abuja and surprised her by handing over a vehicle as a gift.

“So this car I wan take am do gift for you,” he said.

The gesture has drawn attention because of Gehgeh’s earlier comments about men funding businesses for women.

During a July 29 appearance on the BTC Podcast, he advised men to focus on their own financial stability rather than making major investments in women they are dating.

He specifically cautioned men against paying for a woman’s education or setting up a business for her.

“Don’t train a woman in school. Don’t stress yourself for a woman. Don’t open a business for a woman,” Gehgeh said at the time.

When asked whether women also make sacrifices by committing themselves to one man through marriage, he maintained that the roles of men and women were different.
