Galatasaray’s Summer Transfer Plan Entirely Focused on Osimhen, Confirms Manager Okan Buruk

Galatasaray head coach Okan Buruk has emphasized that the club’s entire summer transfer strategy has revolved around securing the services of Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen.
Speaking on the latest developments concerning Galatasaray’s efforts to land the striker, Buruk confirmed that discussions are progressing well and that the deal is nearing its final stages.
“Everything regarding the Osimhen transfer is proceeding positively. We are close to finalizing the move and are hopeful that it will be successfully concluded soon,” Buruk said, as reported by Habersarikirmizi.
He further stated, “Our entire transfer agenda this summer has been centered around Osimhen. A considerable budget has been allocated for this purpose. Once this deal is wrapped up, we will assess our next steps.”
It is worth noting that Galatasaray and Napoli have already settled terms concerning bank guarantees and a structured payment plan for the striker’s transfer.
The Turkish champions have agreed to pay Osimhen’s €75 million release clause in two installments over the course of one year to the Serie A club.
Osimhen, who spent the previous season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, is expected to be officially unveiled to supporters later this week.
