Galatasaray to Sign Ederson After Finalizing €75m Osimhen Deal from Napoli

Manchester City’s Ederson is poised to become Galatasaray’s next goalkeeper, contingent on the Turkish champions finalizing the permanent signing of Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

This development was reported by reputable Galatasaray journalist Yakup Çınar.

According to Çınar, both Galatasaray and Napoli have agreed on financial terms, including bank guarantees and a structured payment plan, for Osimhen’s transfer. The Turkish side will pay the €75 million release clause for the Nigerian striker in two parts: €40 million upfront and the remaining €35 million within a year.

Speaking via the Yeni Açık YouTube channel (as reported by habersarikirmizi), Çınar stated: “Following the completion of the Osimhen deal, I anticipate Galatasaray will proceed to announce Ederson’s signing.

“I strongly believe Ederson is set to become Galatasaray’s new goalkeeper.

“Negotiations are being led by Gardi. A €25 million offer has come in for Ederson from a Saudi Arabian club, but the Brazilian is not keen on relocating there, preferring to live with his family.

“Initially, Ederson requested €15 million in wages from Galatasaray, but that figure has since dropped to €10 million. The club is currently working to negotiate that amount down further to around €7–8 million.

“Ederson is Galatasaray’s leading target in the goalkeeper position. Both manager Okan Buruk and club president Dursun Özbek are eager to finalize this transfer.”
