16 teams advanced to the knockout stage of the Africa Cup of Nations after matches ended in the group stage.
Ivory Coast and Guinea Bissau played their first match in the group stage on January 13 and it ended on January 24.
There were a lot of unexpected eliminations throughout the group round, with some heavyweights losing and underdogs moving on to the knockout round.
The round of 16 games will commence on Saturday, January 27 and conclude on January 30, 2024.
