Enyimba are close to securing the signing of Samuel Anakwe ahead of the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Reports indicate that the defender has agreed personal terms with the nine-time NPFL champions and will arrive in Aba as a free agent after leaving Remo Stars.
Anakwe was part of the Remo Stars squad that won the NPFL title in the 2024/2025 campaign.
The 24-year-old made 90 appearances for the Sky Blue Stars, scoring 13 goals, and is expected to add pace and experience to Enyimba’s squad.
