Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has altered his squad ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly against Russia next Tuesday.
Midfielder John Otomewo and defender Vince Osuji have been drafted in for captain Wilfred Ndidi and Akpe Victory, who are both unavailable for the fixture.
Otomewo recently joined French Ligue 2 outfit Stade de Reims from Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Jerusalem.
Osuji, meanwhile, now plays for Norwegian side Tromsø after leaving Belgian club Club Brugge.
Both players are in line for their Super Eagles debuts when Nigeria take on Russia at the Nizhny Novgorod Stadium.
The last meeting between the countries ended in a 1-1 draw at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium in June 2025.
