Boye Best Calls Out ‘Fake Love’ Among Gospel Artistes After Toluwanisings’ Death

Nigerian gospel singer Adeyinka Adeboye, popularly known as Boye Best, has criticised what he describes as insincerity among gospel ministers following the death of fellow singer Toluwanisings.

Boye Best expressed his concerns after attending a service of songs held in honour of the late gospel artiste in Ibadan on Tuesday evening.

The gathering brought together friends, colleagues and other members of the music community to pay their respects to the deceased.

Shortly after the event, Boye Best took to his Instagram Story to address fellow gospel ministers, warning them against what he described as false expressions of affection.

In a series of posts, the singer questioned the sincerity of relationships within the gospel music industry.

“They don’t love you. They don’t, Brethren. So so fake love,” he wrote.

Although Boye Best did not identify anyone in particular or provide specific examples to support his remarks, his comments conveyed his concerns about the authenticity of relationships among fellow ministers.

The posts came amid tributes and mourning following Toluwanisings’ death, which has drawn reactions from colleagues and members of the gospel music community.
