Boniface’s Loan Move to AC Milan in Jeopardy Following Medical Concerns

Victor Boniface’s proposed loan transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to AC Milan is now in doubt due to concerns arising from his medical examinations with the Italian club.

The Serie A giants had already reached a full agreement with both Leverkusen and Boniface for a loan deal that includes an option to buy. However, complications emerged after the Nigerian forward underwent further health evaluations.

Boniface has a troubling injury history, having sustained two groin injuries during the last two seasons in Germany. In addition, the 24-year-old has twice suffered cruciate ligament tears early in his career — a record that naturally raises caution for any potential buyer.

According to Gazzetta.it, Boniface underwent three separate physical assessments on Thursday. The final round involved his trusted orthopedic specialist, who returned from vacation specifically for the evaluation. Despite this, the tests were deemed inconclusive, and definitive results are expected to be released today.
