Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has voluntarily exited the reality television show, shortly after Sunday’s live eviction.
Neche, who was the Head of House for the third week of the competition, announced her decision to the other housemates after they returned from the live show.
She called the contestants together in the lounge and informed them that she had chosen to leave the programme. However, she did not disclose what prompted her decision.
Following the announcement, Neche removed her microphone and name tag before heading to the diary room to complete the formalities for her departure.
Her exit came as an emotional moment for the remaining housemates, some of whom were visibly affected by the unexpected development.
The sudden withdrawal has also generated discussion among viewers on social media, with some speculating that the departure could be connected to a possible twist in the ongoing season. However, there has been no official confirmation that her exit is part of a production twist.
The 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija, tagged “Show Ya Sef,” premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing for a N160 million grand prize.
Neche’s departure brings the number of contestants remaining in the house to 20.
Martins and Mercedes were evicted during the first week, while Kamsy became the latest evicted housemate during Sunday’s live show.
Neche’s voluntary exit now adds another unexpected turn to a season that has already seen multiple departures in its opening weeks.
