Bayer Leverkusen Set €50m Price Tag on Victor Boniface Amid Summer Transfer Plans

Former Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have set a €50 million asking price for Nigerian forward Victor Boniface as they prepare for a busy summer transfer window.
Leverkusen, also known as Die Werkself, are looking to sell the 24-year-old Nigeria international to raise funds for new signings following the departure of former head coach Xabi Alonso, who left for Real Madrid.
Boniface was reportedly close to a €70 million move to Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in January, but the Saudi club eventually opted to sign Jhon Duran from Aston Villa instead.
The forward struggled with consistency during the 2024/25 season due to recurring injuries but still managed to score 11 goals in 27 appearances across all competitions for Leverkusen.
Boniface joined the German side in 2023 from Belgian Pro League club Union Saint-Gilloise and remains a valuable asset for the club as they navigate their transfer strategy this summer.
