Doma United technical adviser Ayodeji Ayeni has commended his players for executing their game plan with discipline and determination in their 1-0 victory over Inter Lagos on Saturday.
Rilwan Sadiq scored the only goal at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, handing the Savannah Tigers maximum points in a tightly contested Matchday 2 fixture.
Ayeni was impressed by the team’s ability to stick to its tactical instructions and remain composed under pressure.
“The boys responded really well to the tactics. I appreciate them for their courage, resilience and composure,” Ayeni said in an interview with the club’s media.
The result gives Doma United a perfect start to the campaign, having won both of their opening league games.
The Savannah Tigers will welcome Enyimba to the Pantami Stadium in their next Matchday 3 fixture.
