Awards are good but I’d Rather Make My Fans Happy – Korede Bello

Responding to the question, the singer said he prefers making people happy through music than any award.

In his words;

“Awards are good, but knowing that your music makes people happy is a better feeling.

“When an artiste makes it to the nomination list of a prestigious award, I believe they are already winners. But I believe in rewards from commercial success over awards.

“It is where you work that you will eat. Part of artistes’ food is validation for our art. Validation for making great art is good. And that can be very inspirational for others to make better art.”
