Atalanta are anticipating an improved bid from Inter Milan for star winger Ademola Lookman, following the rejection of an initial €40 million offer.
The Bergamo-based club, commonly known as La Dea, are holding out for a fee in the region of €50 million for the Nigerian international, who was recently crowned African Footballer of the Year.
Inter Milan, who have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the former Leicester City forward, are reportedly preparing to submit a revised offer worth €42–€43 million, according to Calciomercato.
Lookman is understood to be eager to join the Nerazzurri and has already turned down a proposal from reigning Serie A champions Napoli in favour of a move to the San Siro.
