Arsenal Pursue Piero Hincapie Signing Amid Ongoing Squad Changes

Arsenal are actively exploring the possibility of securing a transfer for Piero Hincapie from Bayer Leverkusen. While the club’s immediate priority is managing player departures, they are simultaneously positioning themselves to pursue the left-sided centre-back.
Hincapie remains under contract with Leverkusen for another four years, and the German club is keen to retain his services. However, the player has expressed his desire to move on and is protected by a release clause valued at £52 million (€60 million).
Arsenal’s ability to finalize a deal for Hincapie may hinge on their success in selling Jakub Kiwior. The Gunners are currently engaged in talks with FC Porto regarding Kiwior’s transfer, although these discussions have yet to advance as swiftly as anticipated.
