American model and television personality Amber Rose says her views on feminism have changed as she has grown older and become a mother to sons.
Rose made the disclosure while discussing how motherhood and life experiences have influenced her perspective on gender-related issues.
The model said she no longer identifies as a feminist, although she continues to support women and the idea of female empowerment.
“As I’ve gotten older and now have sons, I’m no longer a feminist. I still believe in girl power, but I see both sides now,” Rose said.
Her comments mark a shift from her earlier public advocacy around women’s empowerment, body positivity and issues affecting women.
Rose has previously been associated with the annual SlutWalk movement, which focused on challenging victim-blaming and the shaming of women over their sexuality and appearance.
