Nollywood actress Osas Ighodaro has paid tribute to her late mother, Patricia Imuetiyan Ighodaro, six years after her death.
The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to remember her mother, who died on November 4, 2020, aged 64, just days before her 65th birthday.
She shared a memorial flyer bearing her mother’s name and dates of birth and death, alongside a heartfelt message expressing how much she continues to miss her.
“Mummy, I miss you. I thought it would get easier with time, but it hasn’t. Miss you so, so much, Mummy ~ my ultimate Queen. May you continue to rest. I miss you so much. I love you forever and ever,” she wrote.
The post, accompanied by Stevie Wonder’s song Ribbon in the Sky, attracted messages and reactions from fans and colleagues.
Osas has previously spoken about her close relationship with her mother, whose death in 2020 was a difficult experience for the actress.
