Nollywood actress Habibat Jinadu has launched an initiative to help people reconnect with childhood friends, relatives and other loved ones they have lost contact with.
The actress announced the project, tagged Reconnect With Omojinad, on her verified Instagram page on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the initiative is designed to assist people searching for childhood friends, parents and other family members with whom they have become separated.
“Every separation has a story. Every reunion begins with hope. If you’re looking for your childhood friends, father, mother or relatives, we can help you find them and reconnect with them in peace,” the promotional flyer stated.
Jinadu said the initiative was inspired by her recent reunion with a childhood friend she had not seen in 27 years. The reunion attracted attention after she shared the moment on TikTok.
In her announcement, the actress encouraged people searching for loved ones to reach out to the platform.
“Every separation has a story, and every reunion begins with hope. Are you searching for a childhood friend, your father, mother, or a long-lost relative? We are here to help you find them and reconnect with your loved ones, bringing hearts together and restoring lost connections,” she wrote.
She also indicated that the service would attract a fee, rather than being offered for free.
The initiative is being promoted across her social media platforms with the hashtag #letsstartfromhere.
