John Obi Mikel slams Manchester United players after Bournemouth defeat

Former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has criticised Manchester United’s performances across all competitions, including the UEFA Champions League this season.

The ex-Nigeria international questioned the team’s overall quality, arguing that the players lack the collective ability required to compete effectively.

Mikel described Michael Carrick’s side as unpleasant to watch following their 3-0 Premier League loss to Bournemouth on Sunday.

Speaking on the Obi One Podcast, he said, “Collectively, these Manchester United players are not good enough.

“They were dreadful to watch, awful to watch. It was a disaster.”

Manchester United will next visit Chelsea at Stamford Bridge for a Premier League encounter on Saturday.
