AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze is expected to miss at least another fortnight, with fresh medical tests scheduled in 10 to 15 days to evaluate his left hip injury.
Football Italia reports that the 27-year-old has consulted a specialist and begun infiltration treatment. A follow-up assessment will establish his recovery progress and whether additional intervention is required.
Italian media say Chukwueze experienced hip discomfort after Milan’s Serie A encounter with Atalanta, forcing him to miss training before Thursday’s Europa League trip to Bournemouth.
The Nigerian has featured eight times this season, providing two assists against Torino and Juventus, and has become a key right-wing option under manager Rúben Amorim.
His absence further compounds Milan’s injury concerns, with Matteo Gabbia, Alexis Saelemaekers, who underwent ankle surgery, and goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano also sidelined. Gonçalo Ramos is unavailable due to a calf injury.
Filippo Terracciano also missed the Bournemouth fixture through suspension after being sent off in Milan’s 4-1 away victory over RB Salzburg.
With Saelemaekers unavailable as well, Amorim faces limited choices on the right flank. Chukwueze’s recovery timeline also raises doubts over his participation in upcoming league matches against Udinese, Bologna and Inter Milan.
