Nigerian content creator and streamer Peller has responded to fellow streamer Carter Efe following comments comparing their relationships and partners.
Carter recently praised his girlfriend, Jasmine, for her appearance while making disparaging remarks about Peller’s wife, Jarvis, in a video shared on social media.
Peller subsequently defended his wife, insisting that he has no reservations about spending money on her because he considers it one of the ways he expresses his appreciation for her.
The streamer also stressed that Jarvis is financially independent and does not depend on him to meet her personal needs.
According to Peller, his wife is capable of handling significant expenses herself. He claimed that she recently paid for her own surgery, which he put at about $20,000.
“My wife have her money and she still fine join. I appreciate her with a car,” Peller said.
He further argued that buying gifts for Jarvis should not be interpreted as a comparison between their relationship and that of other couples.
Peller also took a swipe at Carter over what he described as his approach to relationships, alleging that Carter discourages his partners from working while depending on his income from Twitch.
The streamer maintained that his financial gestures towards Jarvis are motivated by affection rather than competition.
“That one na less wetin I go use appreciate her next. We don’t know, it might be a [car],” Peller said.
He added that his relationship with Jarvis should not be measured against Carter’s relationship with Jasmine or any of his previous partners.
Peller concluded his response by asking Carter to respect Jarvis, whom he described as “the best.”
