Manchester United Consider Loan Move For Chido Obi-Martin

Manchester United have placed striker Chido Obi-Martin on the loan market this summer as the club continues to assess his development.

The teenager has received a mixed review during pre-season, with United favouring a move to a European club rather than sending him to a lower-league side in England.

Manager Michael Carrick and the coaching staff reportedly believe the forward is not yet prepared for the demands of Premier League football.

Obi-Martin also faces competition from senior attacking options including Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, who currently rank ahead of him in the first-team pecking order.

The striker featured as a substitute in United’s 5-0 pre-season victory over Rosenborg but was left out of the squad that travelled for their recent win against Atletico Madrid.
