Chelsea Eye Loan Move for Garnacho as Arsenal Finalise €10m Gyökeres Deal

Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho could be on the move this summer, with Chelsea emerging as a potential destination for a loan deal.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Argentine international is keen to remain in the Premier League, and Chelsea are closely monitoring his situation. Garnacho is among four high-profile players omitted from Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United squad for the pre-season tour, alongside Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia.

Romano reports that Garnacho has been encouraged to seek opportunities elsewhere. Although there have been no formal negotiations between Manchester United and Chelsea so far, the winger is said to be on Chelsea’s shortlist of potential summer signings.

Romano added that Chelsea’s current transfer priority remains progressing talks for Xavi Simons.

In a separate development, Arsenal and Sporting CP are finalising paperwork for the transfer of striker Viktor Gyökeres. Both clubs are working with legal teams to verify every detail of the agreement, which includes add-ons totaling €10 million.

The medical examination for Gyökeres is expected to be scheduled soon, with Romano confirming, “It was never going to be on Wednesday. No issues on that. The verbal agreement is 100% done.”
