Plateau United Appoint Adegun as Head Coach, Izang as Sporting Director

Oluwasola Adegun has been named the new head coach of Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) side Plateau United. The Jos-based club made the announcement in an official statement released on Saturday, also confirming the immediate appointment of Gideon Izang as the team’s new sporting director.
Adegun joins Plateau United after stepping down as head coach of Sporting Lagos, a club competing in the Nigeria National League (NNL). His arrival marks a significant addition to the former NPFL champions’ technical bench.
In addition, the club is reportedly in advanced discussions with Kabiru Dogo for the position of technical adviser.
Plateau United concluded the last NPFL season in seventh place. The Plateau State government, which owns the club, has reiterated its commitment to transforming the team into a more professional and results-driven football institution.
