“Stop Calling Yourself the Best Rapper” – Odumodublvck Fires at Blaqbonez

Nigerian hip-hop star Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has called out fellow rapper Blaqbonez, urging him to stop claiming the title of Nigeria’s best rapper.
This statement comes in the heat of an escalating feud between the two artists, which recently spilled onto social media after Blaqbonez seemingly took shots at Odumodublvck in his latest collaboration with A-Q, “Who’s Really Rapping.”
In a recent interview Odumodublvck did not hold back. He described Blaqbonez’s self-proclaimed “best rapper” status as both misleading and disrespectful to Nigeria’s true rap legends.
“Do you know what it means to say you’re the best rapper in Nigeria?” he asked. “Stop the jokes. You are not the best rapper. M.I is the best rapper. Vector is the best rapper. If you were the best, you would’ve won Best Rap Album at the Headies — you weren’t even nominated for Best Rap Single.”
Odumodublvck emphasized the importance of recognizing the legacy of veteran rappers like Phyno, Olamide, Vector, M.I, Modenine, and Show Dem Camp’s Ghost and Tec, asserting that respect must be given where it’s due.
“I would never say I’m better than Phyno. Look at what he’s built. There’s a whole generation that paved the way,” he said. “To claim you’re the best, you actually have to be the best. And if you’re not, stop saying it. It’s annoying, bro. You can get smacked in the face for that kind of sh*t.”
He went on to accuse Blaqbonez of misleading fans and projecting personal insecurities:
“Stop lying to the kids. Nobody is even booking you for shows. You’re a dope artist, no doubt — but don’t let your insecurities close the door for others.”
With tensions running high and words getting sharper, it’s clear the rap battle between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez is far from over.
